Republic Day 2026 Parade PM Modi Greets Public, India showcased its development journey, cultural diversity and military strength at the 77th Republic Day celebrations. Newly raised military units and mock-ups of major weapon systems deployed during Operation Sindoor were also a part of the parade.
The parade began at 10.30 am and concluded after noon. Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to fallen soldiers at the National War Memorial before proceeding to the saluting dais to join other dignitaries.
