Blood Donation Camp In Bidar World Mission Society Church Of God, On 15 March 2026 A Camp Was Organised,

Helping Improve Blood Supply and Promote Voluntary Blood Donation in Bidar, Karnataka

The World Mission Society Church of God (General Pastor Kim Joo-cheol, hereafter referred to as the Church of God) held the “1812th Worldwide Blood Drive to Give Life Through the Love of the Passover” on the 15th March 2026
The event took place in Church of God Bidar, Karnataka, It was filled with energy as about 100 blood donors, including church members, their families, and colleagues, gathered to participate.

A Church of God official said,
“Church members participated in blood donation in hopes of helping solve the chronic shortage of blood and promoting a culture of voluntary blood donation. We hope more people will join in saving the precious lives of those who urgently need transfusions.”

Participants followed the instructions of the Apex Blood Centre medical staff, undergoing blood pressure measurements, blood tests, and blood draws procedures in an orderly manner.

On this day 22 people donated, about 8000 ml of blood.

The staff of Apex Blood Centre helped ensure that participants could donate blood comfortably and safely, and also provided refreshments.

who attended the event, encouraged the donors.

One participant who prepared their health in advance for blood donation shared their thoughts about participating in the life-saving activity.

Another participant also expressed happiness in contributing to saving lives through blood donation.

The Passover in the “Worldwide Blood Drive to Give Life Through the Love of the Passover” is a feast of God that means “disaster passes over.”
It commemorates the day when Jesus Christ, on the night before His crucifixion, established the new covenant by giving bread and wine representing His flesh and blood, granting eternal life.

The Church of God has been holding blood donation events since 2001 to share the noble love contained in the Passover.

Its activities in India are also active. The Church of God has held blood donation relays in various states, such as Maharashtra, Gujarat, Punjab, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Sikkim, and Tamil Nadu, to help address blood shortages.

It has also continued environmental cleanup activities to pass on a healthy Earth to future generations. For example, it improved urban environments around Katpadi Railway Station in Vellore and the Butterfly Bridge in Gangtok.

In addition, the church has supported low-income families, visited social welfare facilities such as children’s centres and orphanages, and assisted with manpower for polio vaccination programs, warmly caring for neighbours in need.

In recognition of these good efforts, officials including the Minister of Social Justice and Special Assistance of Maharashtra, the Minister of Health of Chhattisgarh, and the mayors of Mumbai, Ahmednagar, and Vasai-Virar have presented plaques of appreciation and certificates of recognition.
